Environment :
– Altitude : 350-400m
– Soil :  Medium-texture,
Predominantly Calcareous, Alberese and Galetro rocks.
– Vine training  : Spurred cordon

Vintage  :
– Vinification  : 15-20 days of fermentation on the skins at 28-30°C;
following by malolactic fermentation in steel.
– Maturing  : 6-8 months in 225lt. French oak barriques.
– Ageing in the bottle : Approx. 12 months
– Cellaring  :  12-14 years

Alcohol: 13.00%

Serving Temperature : 18°C

Tasting Note :
– Colour : Deep and bright Ruby Red
– Perfume : Fruity, with spicy notes
– Palate :  Excellent structure and balance. Smooth and round tannies

Accompaniments  :  
Ideal with ripe cheeses, Tuscan cold cuts and red meat.
