【Chianti Classico DOCG of Fattoria di Montecchio】
To share with you some new news of this week. Firstly, Fattoria Montecchio was awarded by the international NGO Forest Stewardship Council, regarding the certification of reducing CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions, which uses high-quality corks, to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released during winemaking.
Secondly, Italian wine writer and taster Paolo Massobrio, at the Chianti Classico Collection wine tasting event held in Firenze, he specifically mentioned and introduced 4 out of the nearly 80 Chianti Classico wines which produced in 2019, which included our winery Fattoria Montecchio: “Fattoria Montecchio Chianti Classico DOCG 2019 gives depth to the nose where you gather balsamic notes as well as rhubarb and mint. It is pleasant and its tannins are fine and silky.” (Fattoria Montecchio dà profondità al naso dove cogli note balsamiche, ma anche rabarbaro e menta. È piacevole e i suoi tannini sono fini e setosi.)
